Advance polls are open, and Canmore’s Municipal Election is just 6 days away on October 18th.
We’ve received a lot of questions about who to vote for. Here’s what we’ve been saying:
1. Jeff Mah and Wade Graham were instrumental volunteers for BVE during the TSMV hearings. They are running for Council to advance many of the community concerns raised during that process.
2. For other candidates, please do your research to see who aligns with your values and vision for Canmore. You can find each candidate’s website and platform here.
3. Check each candidate’s website to see who’s financially backing them (not all candidates have disclosed this information).
4. While you can vote for up to 6 members of council, please remember you can vote for fewer. It’s a better strategy to only vote for candidates you’re confident about.
