As we all know from the TSMV proceedings this year, who ends up on Town Council determines a lot about the future of our community. That’s why Bow Valley Engage will help you navigate this fall’s municipal election and help you make an informed vote on October 18th. Here’s what we’re planning:
Election Issues Primer Night — Tuesday, Sept 14 from 7-9 PM on Zoom. Four speakers on four issues that will make or break our community in the next 4 years. This is the stuff any serious candidate needs to be grilled on to see if they deserve your vote. Any guesses what the 4 issues are? Register here.
Candidates Comparison Tool — Week of Sept 27. We’re going to ask everyone on our mailing list to help select 10 Yes or No questions that will then be posed to all candidates. We’ll publish their answers online in a handy comparative chart that will show, at a glance, where the field of candidates stand on issues important to the BVE community. Some of the highest ranked questions will also be posed at the…..
All-candidates Forum — Sunday October 3 from 7-9 PM on Zoom: co-hosted by BVE, the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative, and Bow Valley Climate Action Society. This will be your chance to see which candidates have backbone for the issues and values you care about. Which 7 people deserve your vote on October 18th? Attend and find out! (Zoom link coming in a future email).
Take the first step right now: sign up for the online election issues primer and we’ll see you on Zoom on Tuesday night!
Have a great day!
